After a period of time of missionary withdrawal apparently Antigua once again has missionaries on it.  Jim Davis (who returened within the last couple of months) reported that there are now 4 missionaries serving on this island!  It is good to hear that things are going well in the outer islands. 

Dominica is justifiably known as "The Nature Island of the Caribbean". With an extensive and unspoiled rainforest, 365 rivers, one of the world's largest Boiling Lakes and a host of waterfalls, there's much to do and see here.

Whether something is legal or illegal should not be an overarching factor in a religious discussion. For example: as someone has already pointed out, abortion is legal in the U.S., but that doesn't change the church's stance on it. Likewise, whether marijuana is legal or not (and it is in places) the church should review its own doctrine on the matter. D&C 89:10-11 states: QUOTE 10 And again, verily I say unto you, all wholesome herbs God hath ordained for the constitution, nature, and use of man— 11 Every herb in the season thereof, and every fruit in the season thereof; all these to be used with prudence and thanksgiving. Given that marijuana is not a chemically addictive substance, that it has health benefits (like the benefits it provides me as someone with PTSD), and is clearly an herb; it seems clear that the church should free its members (like me) to use this herb that god has ordained for our use.
