| | I
am not an alumni. I have a good friend who is currently in the MTC preparing to
come to the West Indies.
| | Well
I did not serve a mission but I am interested in meeting LDS people in or who
served in the West Indies... I was born in Edmonton, AB Canada to Canadian young
woman(a member). She was very you and not married so she gave me up for adoption...
I was adopted by a family from Trinidad and coinsidentally, my biological father
was from Trinidad also... Now we all know the lord works in mysterious ways but
this was amazing... when my mother (that raised me) passed away I was only eighteen...
Now we all know how Trinidadians like to talk, so finding my birth father wasespecially
easy... As a metter of fact, he was in the community I had grown up in and had
been involved in all my life.... My birth mother was not as easy but it still
only took a total of three days from the time I actively started looking... Turns
out she was a very active member of the Church and had a beautiful family... I
went from being the baby of the family to the big sister in a matter of 2 weeks...
To make a long story short, I moved to the city she lived in and joined the church...
Now 5 years later I am happily married with 2 beautiful sons and my husband was
baptized on March 1 2002... We look forward to being married in the Temple next
year and continuing our journey towards eternal happiness... We also hope to visit
Trinidad someday soon so that our children may learn more about the beauty of
our culture. We hope to meet friends from all over and enjoy International LDS
friendships | | |

| | Hi,
My name is Vicki Younker and I have a son presently serving in the WI mission
he has been in Trinidad for over 13months but on Thursday he will be transferred
to Guyana. I am interested in hearing anything about the countries and the mission
progress and history. Thankyou for setting up this site so mothers can get a glimpse
about what their sons are doing so far from home. Thanks again Vicki Younker

| | Hi,
I am from Trinidad, but did not serve there on my mission. I was the first, first
counselor in the first Branch Presidency in Sangre Grande. I will visit the site
to find out about the missionaries I knew. There aren't any that I knew at this
time on there, but I will keep checking back. Great Work!

Name: Kim Country:
Title: Lilith
Comments: I'm years behind on this response, but I got here so I thought others might as well. His reference to creation and formation is actually a discrepancy within the scriptures, created of the earth(same as Adam was created) vs. Formed from Adams rib (indication she is "part" of Adam, get it?) when something is created, it's different from being copied, see? Creation would indicate she was equal to Adam, formed of his rib would indicate she is a lesser, weaker copy. Lilith was his equal, whereas Eve was beneath him. I may have the words formed and created backwards but hopefully you can get the idea of the point made. AND for future reference, the Bible says "seek out the old paths and walk therein", its right to make sure the Bible isn't a watered down account of truth. Also it says "be ye not ignorant", don't assume we have the whole story. There are so many parts of the Scriptures removed by the roman-catholic church, and where do you think these scriptures come from to begin with, how did we get them? Just a thought to ponder, and your harshness is nothing short of fanaticism. Now as to Lilith being true, I have no idea. Then again do we have actual proof of anything? (including christian religion)
