News: As Church Grows, What Is Taught Remains The Same

What? You think its the leaders choice that keep teaching us the same thing. Its because we as a church as a whole haven't moved forward! Most of the people I see in the church are fine with the same old thing and don't want any change. The only way to gain more knowledge is to grow spiritually. Mormon talked about how he was going to write down all that Jesus taught the Nephites. But he was told not to, to try our faith. Pres Benson brings up the condemnation the church is under because we don't use the book of mormon as should (I would add all scripture). In the end, the gospel is the same, its same principles that were taught to Adam. There is no need to change them, or change how we teach them.
