Introduction
Book of Mormon Battles is a massive, online, multiplayer text based game. Here ye are
a player on a quest for gold, power and respect. As a player, ye must build
up yer forces. With peasants to generate yer income, and with soldiers
to protect ye. To become bigger ye will need to learn how to keep yer
peasants and soldiers happy. This can be done by purchasing certain items,
and avoiding certain events. This game is simple, highly addictive and very
fun!

Turns & Reserves
Turns is what ye use to do everything. Every action that ye do in the game will probably require the use of some turns. For example: to attack someone, it requires 2 turns. Every 10 minutes ye will receive a certain amount of turns, depending on the rounds settings. Each round, ye also start off with a given amount of reserves. Reserves are also basically turns, except reserves can be saved for later untill ye decide to use them.

Credits
If ye have credits in yer account, ye can convert them into reserves for use in a round that ye specify. There are limits to how many credits ye can add to a round, depending on the game settings. Credits can also be used to reset attacks and to change yer player name. They can be bought and they can be won.

Peasants
P easants are important to have because they bring in gold. The more gold
ye generate, the more soldiers ye will be able to hire, and the stronger
weapons ye will be able to purchase for them. It is also a good idea to
keep yer peasants happy by keeping a good stock of medicine, water, and
manna (food).. If yer peasants start to become unhappy they will leave
ye, or maybe also even join another player.

Soldiers
From my point of view, I'd say soldiers are the most important characters
in the game. Peasants both love and need the protection from yer soldiers.
Soldiers can also make a good amount of wine or manna. To keep yer soldiers
happy, keep a good stock of weapons and wine.

Admins
They monitor yer actions and make sure everyone is playing fair. It's best
to stay on the good side. If ye have any problems, found a bug in the game
or found a game abuser, let them know by leaving a message under the support
link.

Scouting for peasants
When ye first start off a round, this is the action that ye want to use. The more peasants ye have, the more gold ye will make. Make sure ye keep yer peasants happy while scouting, or ye might lose them!

Bakery
Its not always best buy wine and manna. Sometimes the cheapest way to get
gain them is by baking them. Remember that the happier yer soldiers are,
the more they will produce.

Morale
Gold on the low amount? Few turns left? This will allow ye to get yer
peasants in a better mode and make more gold!

Travel
There are different lands that ye may travel to in Book of Mormon Battles. Tired of
the same player attacking ye? Try travelling to another locatin to get
away. Players cannot attack each other if they are not in the same location.

Items
The items below are required if ye are going to keep yer peasants happy. Its a good idea to have a nice stock of each item.
Water - This keeps yer peasants healthy and able to work.
Medicine - Help protect yer peasants so they do not die of the plague.

Manna & Wine
Peasants and soldiers will need their manna and wine ye want them to stay
happy. They can be purchase and produced. If producing, make sure yer soldiers
are happy, so they produce more.
Mann - Peasants need to eat!
Wine- Soldiers love to have a good time.

Weapons
Ye will find that there are several types of weapons in this game. Each weapon has its price, and each weapon has its damage. Sometimes ye can't always afford the best. Ye will need at least 1 weapon per soldier in order to keep them happy.
Horses
Do I need to explain...this is how yer soldiers travel. 1 per horse.

Attacking
Im not going to go into do much detail here, but there are 6 different types of attacks in Book of Mormon Battles. To attack a player, goto the ranks, find the player ye want to attack and click on his name. When are ye viewing his profile, click on attack!!!. If ye see Out of Range, ye may not attack this player.
Frontal Attack - Most common attack done by players. Go straight
to the campground and claim it!
Riding Attack - Basically ye just sent soldiers on horses to the
campground to attack.
Steal Horses - In order to steal someones horses, ye will need to
make sure enough of his soldiers are dead.
Infesting peasants - Infesting yer enemies peasants will make his peasants use up boxes of medicine, making them unhappy.
Stealing peasants - Try sending some manna to yer enemies peasants
as a bribe. Maybe they will join ye... but dont send to much manna!
Stealing soldiers - Think yer wine is better, try stealing yer
enemies soldiers by sending it.

Peasant Happiness
Keeping a good stock of manna, medicine, and water sould keep yer peasants
happy enough. If ye attack to much, yer peasants will become unhappy and
wont be happy again untill ye let yer attacks drop down a bit.

Soldier Happiness
A soldier is not a soldier without a weapon of some sort. Make sure ye
have a weapon for each one of yer soldiers. soldiers also enjoy a good
vile of wine.

LDS News: Lds Missionary Dies In England
|
From http://www.ldslivingonline.com/article.php?articleId=55617
| QUOTE | A 23-year-old woman serving a proselytizing mission for the Mormon church died while jogging.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints says Lindsey Spjute collapsed and died Saturday in Birmingham, England.
Richard L. McKenna, Spjute's Farmington stake president, said the woman's death came without any warning.
Spjute was thought to be in good health and ran the Ogden marathon last year.
A coroner was not able to reach any conclusion about the cause of her death. |
This is one of those sad things that are hard to take, especially when they are serving the Lord. I pray for the family of this young woman and hope they find peace.
